As my  boyfriend is fascinated with old cars I took him to the Imperial Palace to see the Auto Collection.
It was really great exhibition - 350 antique, classic and special interest vehicles spanning a century and individually valued at up to $1.5 million.

The most interesting seemed to me a hot red 1923 Indian Big Chief two-wheeler. I could have one ;)

As Nevada caucus results shows  that in Democratic party No1 is Hillary Clinton (51% votes), No2 Barack Obama ( 45%  votes ) and last but not least  ;) John Edwards ( 4 % votes ). Analysing Republican party we can see that Mitt Romney had got more than a half votes and he is a leader ( 51% votes ), Ron Paul with his 6.084 votes ( which gives him 14% ) is on the second position and John McCain with 13% votes is just behind Paul.

To the final elections everything can change dramatically. In my opinion, the true fight will have place between Clinton and Obama. Both arouse strong feelings on the USA political scene.

The Las Vegas Valley lies in the (relatively) high altitude Mojave Desert.  It can result in drastic changes of temperature between seasons, even day and night.

Daily summer temperatures from June through August typically exceed 100 °F . While low ambient humidity tempers the effect of these temperatures, dehydration, heat exhaustion, and sun stroke can occur after even a limited time outdoors in the summer.

Winter temperatures are very mild with lows of around 30 °F (-1 °C). Snow accumulation at the valley floor is rare but the surrounding mountains receive as much as ten feet (3 m) in the winter.

Marriage Can Be Murder II, performing at The Egg & I, West Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas, is a delight to see. The show can be seen on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 7pm, and Saturdays at 6pm. It’s a comedy dinner show, so no one under 13 is allowed.

This is an interactive show. This usually conjures up images of humiliation for the audience, but it is not the case here. People interact at will and are not coerced or embarrassed. The cast are excellent, very funny and very professional.

Believe it or not, Las Vegas has a burgeoning art scene and this complex, located in the Gateway district, is the place to find proof. It features a few galleries and a number of work spaces for local artists. Several of the spaces are closed to the public. On the first Friday of each month, they have a party event showcasing local artists and arts-oriented businesses, with live music, street performances, and other entertainment and activities.

This full-scale reproduction of King Tutankhamen’s tomb includes the antechamber, annex, burial chamber, and treasury housing replicas of the glittering inventory discovered by archaeologists Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon in the Valley of Kings at Luxor in 1922.

It was all handcrafted in Egypt by artisans using historically correct gold leaf and linens, pigments, tools, and ancient methods, and all items have been meticulously positioned according to Carter’s records. It’s hardly like seeing the real thing, but if you aren’t going to Egypt anytime soon, perhaps checking out reproductions isn’t a bad idea.
