Circus Hotel Resort and Casino are mountains of thrills from the Canyon Blaster (a double loop roller coaster), to Chaos (hurling riders in three ranges of motion), and Rum Runner (a wild and wet indoor flume ride). Fun starts at 10 a.m. daily.
The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) brings together cowboys and cowgirls from around the world at the Thomas & Mack Center for the ultimate showdown championship, known as the Superbowl of Rodeos. It is running from 30th of November to 9th of December. Competing for US$5 million of prize money some 120 cowboys sling it out in seven events: bareback riding, saddle bronco riding, bull riding, team roping, steer wrestling, tie-down roping and barrel racing.
Past champions have included Freckles Brown and "Kid" Jim Rodriguez Sr. Only a handful of contestants win more than one type of event, but whatever it is you’ll be sure to be sitting on the edge of your seat for these gruelling, and often dangerous, competitions.
The ten-day NFR has been entertaining the population of Las Vegas and hundreds of thousands of outsiders since 1959.
